NITROGEN
Nitrogen is a constant and inert gas.It is not affected by dust, oil and moisture. On the other hand, normal air contains 21% oxygen and it is humid. The benefits of using nitrogen are as follows;
- Nitrogen is a dry air. The humidity contained by normal air causes to oxidation and corrosion of the wires of tyres located in the carcass structure in time. Nevertheless oxidation and corrosion that may occur in wires located in the carcass structure is eliminated by the help uf using nitrogen.
- Tyres inflated with nitrogen are exposed to 1/3 less pressure changes than tyres filled with normal air. And this increases the lifetime and the road handling of the tyre.
- Nitrogen provides better braking thanks to better road handling.
- Tyres inflated with nitrogen show less rolling resistance and therefore they provide less fuel consumption at the rate of 2% in proportion to tyres filled with normal air.
Inflating tyres with nitrogen does not eliminate the necessity of checking your tyre pressure regularly because the risk of tyre puncture or air pressure loss (although it is a low probability) is in question.
You may come over our service points and carry out safely your nitrogen inflation and you may get the pressure of your tyres checked with nitrogen in order to extend the life of your tyres, to save fuel and for a safer driving.
